A Protocol of intent on cooperation in the field of investment between the administration Gulkevichskogo area of the Kuban and the company "Starch plant Gulkevichsky" signed at the International investment forum "Sochi-2016". The volume of investments in the reconstruction and increase of 350 tons per day production capacity on deep processing of corn will be 1,802 billion rubles, said the head of the district Victor Kadikale.

"The agreement involves the construction of plant for deep processing of corn maltodextrin, which is used in food production. In our country it was not yet released, the capacity of the new plant to 28 million tonnes of corn syrup will provide 50% of this market in Russia", — said V. Katkalo.

According to the representative of the district, the project will be implemented by the end of 2017 in the framework of the regional program of import substitution and will create 70 new jobs.
