The 14th of October in the Volgograd region the crops were harvested 1805,8 thousand hectares or 95% of the total area harvest (2015 1643,4 thousand hectares). Agrarians of the region harvested 4333,9 thousand tons of grain crops (2015 2818,0 thousand tons) with a yield of 24.0 t/ha (2015 – 17,1 t/ha).

Also, the farmers started the harvesting campaign of the oilseed (sunflower, flax, safflower, coriander). All crops were harvested 478,3 thousand hectares, accounting for 55% of the total area of harvest (2015 631,9 thousand ha), harvested 528,2 million tonnes (2015 – $ 717.0 millions tons) with a yield of 11.0 t/ha (2015 – 11.3 t/ha, 2014, to 11.6 C/ha).

The agricultural producers of the region continues sowing of winter crops. Just planted 1385,7 thousand ha (2015 1040,1 thousand hectares).
