It's at 1.04 million tons higher than the figure recorded the previous season. The experts clarify that the increase in production of meal will be observed from the beginning of 2017.

This valuation is due to the rather high pace of the sowing campaign of soybean in the country and the expected growth of oil production in 2016/17 MG.

Another reason for the increase in production of meal will serve the growing demand of manufacturers of cereal products, at least 0.2 million tons per year. At the same time, this trend may limit the export potential of Brazilian soybean meal to 15.5 million tonnes, which exceeds the result a year earlier by only 0.1 million tons and will be the minimal rate of growth over the last 3 seasons.

Ending stocks of soybean meal in Brazil in 2016/17 MG, according to analysts, will increase to 1.15 (1,06) million tons.
