According to the survey, the largest Association of palm oil producers in Indonesia, by the end of October of this year the volume of production in the country increased by 5.6% compared to the figure for the previous month - to 3.06 million tons.

It is noted that the stable growth of the domestic production of palm oil in the country is observed since may this year, after the termination of strong El niño.

With regard to exports from the country, according to the Chairman of the Indonesian Council on palm oil (IPOB) Derom Bangun, in October it increased by 11% in the month to 2.23 million tons after the observed decline of this indicator in August and September.

Note also that domestic consumption of palm oil in Indonesia in the reporting month decreased to 0,90-0,94 million tons against the 0.93-1.03 million tons in September, and stocks of products has increased to 1.95 (1,74) million tons.
