According to experts, in the fall of 2016, the farmers sowed grain 3,1 (2,2) million hectares, of which 1.9 (1,2) million hectares were reserved for whites and 1.2 (1) million hectares for yellow corn. Currently, the state of grain crops in the country is assessed as good, while the next 3 weeks in most parts of Africa are projected to be favorable for seedling development of the rain.

Forecast of corn exports from the country in 2016/17 MG remains unchanged at 1 million tons, 300 thousand tons will exceed the result for 2015/16, whereas the import of grain can very significantly reduce - to 0.025 (3) million tons.
