According to the Agency, the volume of wheat exports last month amounted to 1,178 million tons compared to 1,906 million tonnes in January last year (a decrease of 38%).

Russian grain is exported to more than 60 countries. The biggest importers are Turkey, Egypt, Vietnam, South Korea, Saudi Arabia.

In 2016, the exports of grain through the ports of Krasnodar Krai increased by 4% compared with the figure in 2015 to 21,346 million tons.

On the territory of Krasnodar region is one of the largest Russian ports – Novorossiysk and Tuapse ports, Yeysk, Temryuk, Caucasus, Taman.
