"Of the total number of grain crops grain maize is 61.5 thousand hectares. Also planned is the planting of 4 thousand hectares of potatoes, 14 thousand hectares of sunflower, more than 8 thousand hectares of sugar beet, 2 thousand ha of vegetables and other crops", — said I. Erkenov.

He noted that the farms of the Republic is almost completed preparation for the sowing campaign, which is scheduled to begin in late March.
