Thus, exports of soybean oil from the country in the reporting month amounted to only 266 thousand tons compared to 494 thousand tons in February from a year earlier. The greatest decline in shipments was observed in the direction of India to 166 (263) thousand tons, the Bangladesh – 33 (59) thousand tonnes, Algeria – 1 (22) thousand tons, Iran – 0 (33) thousand tons and Egypt – 0 (23) thousand tons.

Shipments of soybean meal from Argentina in February decreased to 2.19 (2,6) million tons. Substantially all deliveries of products have decreased in the EU – to 857 (1,02) million tons. Also significantly reduced the figure for Egypt – 53 (79) thousand tons, while exports to Pakistan were not implemented at all, while in February last year, the country has purchased 122 thousand tons of the product. At the same time, in February increased its imports of Argentine soymeal Indonesia – 256 (228) thousand tons, the Vietnam – 279 (244) thousand tonnes and Turkey – 197 (55) thousand tons.

As for the export of soybeans from Argentina, in the reporting month, the volume was insignificant – 24 (6) thousand tonnes.
