The production of these products by the end of this MG to increase to 780 thousand tons, against 767 thousand tons a season earlier, and the exports of Russian soybean oil may reach a record 460 thousand tons compared to 428 thousand tons in 2015/16.

It should be noted that the main importers of soya oil from Russia in September-January 2016/17 MG were Algeria (49%), Tunisia (15%) and Venezuela (7%). At the same time, one should highlight the reduction in shipments to China, which in that period was almost halved in comparison with the last year result and amounted to only 6% of the total volume of Russian exports of the product.

Domestic consumption of soybean oil in Russia will also increase at the end of the season and, according to forecasts of IA "APK-inform", will reach 320 thousand tons (+10.3% to the result of 2015/16). This growth, in turn, may increase imports of the product Russia - up to 2 thousand tons against 1.1 million tons a season earlier.
