The Russian direct investment Fund (RDIF) is discussing with partners the possibility of participating in the privatization of a controlling stake in United grain company (UGC), said the head of the Fund Kirill Dmitriev.

"We are interested in various projects in the agricultural sector, they are very interesting and for our middle Eastern partners, because Russia's exports to the Middle East is growing. With regard to this specific investment, we carefully study, began to discuss it with our various partners, and, accordingly, are in the process of its detailed study," — said Kirill Dmitriev, commenting on the issue on behalf of the Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov to consider the sale of state-owned UGC consortium group "Amount" and RDIF.
