As of 7 June Russia since the beginning of this season has exported 40 million tons of cereals, legumes and oilseeds. This was stated to journalists in Noumea Director of the Center for the evaluation of quality of grain and products of its processing Julia Queen, said the Agency "Interfax".

As the expert noted, the main exports have traditionally made cereals - 34 million tons.

Thus in 2016/17 MG has already beaten the record supplies of wheat, which amounted to about 26.5 million tons. For the export of corn is also a good indicator of 4.75 million tons, increased supplies of oilseeds, - said Korolev.

At the same time, according to her, this season marked drop in exports of grain by-products, especially flour and cereals. The expert explained that, in particular, the fact that in countries that previously bought products of the Russian grain processing started to develop its own processing industry.

"I think, first and foremost, the decline is due to the fact that in Indonesia, for example, there are more and more of its flour milling production, they are now more focused on grain purchase and processing", she said.

In addition, said Korolev, a very large share of the world export market of flour falls on Turkey.

"If the whole world flour market is about 13 million tonnes, some 3.5-4 million tons is Turkey. Russia is not even included in the top 10, we have flour exports for the year - less than 200 thousand tons", - she added.
