According to the newspaper "Vedomosti", the rationale for preparing this issue of the Federal Antimonopoly service (FAS).

The paper reported that the tariffs can reduce the loads of the second and third classes: oil, grain, fertilizers and containers, metals, transporting to a distance of 1100 km.

At the moment these goods applies a reduction factor of up to 50% with no restrictions on range of transportation.

It is expected that the increase in the discount will reduce the burden on consumers and will contribute to the growth of cargo transportation through Railways.
