As specified, the overall rate will increase, primarily due to record production of soybean meal, which will grow to 9.1 million tonnes to 231 million tonnes, which accounts for around 66% of the total world production of 12 types of meals. Production of sunflower meal will also be at a high level, decreasing only 1% in comparison with the expected result of the current season - to 19.2 million tons, which will become the second-highest for all time of observations.

Total supply of the 12 key types of meals in the next season can grow by 12.2 million tonnes in the year - to 361,5 million tons, mainly due to high carryover stocks of soybean meal.

Global consumption, according to experts, will increase to a record 349,6 million tons, as production levels will exceed this figure, it will lead to accumulation of rather high ending stocks of meal and will put pressure on prices.
