Forecast production of all wheat in the EU, including solids, is at the level of 149,3 million tons, 3.3 million tons more than last year's result.

Experts Strategie Grains see better than in June, the prospects for the soft wheat crop in France – 36.3 million tonnes against the June forecast of 35.6 million tons.

Strategie Grains has lowered its forecast for the European barley 500 tonnes to 58 million tonnes, 2.5 million tonnes less than was produced last year.

Also lowered the forecast corn production, at 1.2 million tonnes to 58.8 million tonnes (60 million tons in 2016).
