The Rosselkhoznadzor has denied the information that the grains stored in the bins of the Russian farmers, are in poor condition.

Last week, with reference to JSC "Rusagrotrans" in the Russian media appeared information about the alleged poor quality stored in the internal grain market.

"July 14, 2017, LLC "Rusagrotrans" on its official website, clarified the previously published information, in particular, it is reported that "provided by the expert of the information was correctly interpreted in some media," - told the Agency.

"The information provided by the expert of the company, have been incorrectly interpreted in some media. The opinion of our expert based on estimates of producers in some regions and not covered all carryover. Monitoring the quality of the crop is traditionally engaged in the Rosselkhoznadzor, whose data are complete and reliable in nature and are expected by all the experts market at the beginning of the new grain season".

Condition of grain, under assumptions of experts, could become worse because of high humidity and dampness. Note that the adverse weather conditions of the current year, namely, cold summer, can cause significant losses to the agro-industrial complex of Russia. The National Union of agricultural insurers has estimated that such weather conditions in the spring and summer will cost the farmers of 2.6 billion rubles.

In Russia starting from 2013 the program of state support of farmers, under which the government subsidizes insurance premiums. However, since the beginning of this year, the delivery mechanism of the grant to agricultural producers has changed.

Currently working a "unified" regional subsidy. The agreement on the provision of funds, which records targets is annually among the regional governments and the Ministry of agriculture. The regions will be able to independently determine the directions and volumes of spending.
