According to monitoring data, the total forecast yield is lowered to 52.7 t/ha. It is 0.4% less than the average yields for the last five years. Experts do not see serious problems in the overall reduction of productivity in the EU.

According to analysts of Agency, in 2017 the total gross yield of grain maize in the EU is 68.3 kg/ha, which is 4.3% less than the five-year indicators. The reason is the reduction in the area under cultivation of culture and extreme weather conditions in different periods of plant development.

On other crops of significant differences from the five-year indicators no. The percentage varies between 1.5% up or down. So MARS predicts the yield of soft wheat in the area 58,5 t/ha (-0,2%), hard wheat – 34,1 kg/ha (+1,8%), spring barley – 39,4 t/ha (-0,5%), winter barley – 57,3 t/ha (+0,9%), rye -38,2 t/ha (+1.3 percent).
