According to customs statistics, in the first month 2017/18 MG (July), the volume of imports of soybeans to the EU amounted to 1.04 million tons, which is 29% lower than the same period last season, according to CNBC.

In turn, the purchase of soybean meal by the EU for the reporting period increased to 1.72 million tons, which is 3% higher than in July 2016 (1.67 million tons).

The palm oil imports in July amounted to 388 thousand tonnes, 8% inferior to the result of the same period last year (420 thousand tonnes).
