At the same time, prices for soybean oil have grown in response to the adjustment policies pursued by the U.S. imports of biodiesel, which could stimulate domestic consumption of soybean oil, despite the fact that the prices of rapeseed and sunflower oil stabilized in light of lower than expected global supply.

Recall that in August 2017, the average value of food price index of FAO was almost 176,6 points, which is 2.3 points (1.3 percent) below the July value, but still at 10 points (6%) higher than last year.
