"Last week the Rosselkhoznadzor inspectors detected another case of the implementation in retail chains in the Moscow region products prohibited for import to the Russian Federation. So, in shops, Metro implemented blue cheese "Dor-blue". According to the label, the manufacturer of the cheese is OOO "Allgau" (Russia, Moscow). Importer in the Republic of Belarus LLC "Masterpieces of taste". However, OOO "Allgau" is not the manufacturer of the cheese, and carries out its activities exclusively in terms of packaging and cheese packaging. In accordance with the administrative investigations Service Rosselkhoznadzor has reason to believe that the products were imported from countries on the import into Russia of production of which were banned, and repacked at the Moscow company with the aim of smooth implementation on the territory of Russia", — stated in the message Rosselkhoznadzor.

It is noted that "on this fact the Rosselkhoznadzor appealed to the Prosecutor with a request to agree on holding an unscheduled inspection of OOO "Allgau" with the purpose of verification at the identified fact and suppression of legalization of illegal products."

Rosselkhoznadzor said that "given the widespread implementation of the sanctions on the shelves, the Rosselkhoznadzor will send a formal request to CPS to provide information on the work of this Department to prevent implementation of the sanctions products in retail chains and online stores".

The press service of Metro said that "there are reasonable grounds to believe that the goods supplied do not meet the statutory requirements."
