The global volume of processing of sunflower seeds during the second half of 2017/18 MG will be reduced to 19.09 million tons, 1.3 million tons (7%) will yield to the same period of the previous season (20,42 million tons), reports "APK-inform" with reference to Oil World.

"In particular, the reduction of this indicator is projected for Ukraine to 5.44 (6,46) million tons, Russia — to 4.17 (4,68) mln t, Turkey to 0.97 (0,99) million tonnes, South Africa — to 0.36 (0,41) mln t and the USA to 0.2 (0,22) million tons", — analysts say.

By the end of 2017/18 MG the volume world sunflower may be reduced to 43.6 million tonnes compared to the 2016/17 MG (44,8 million tons).
