ASF: Russia strengthens protective measures from infectious diseases of animals
On August 31 the Order of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation directed on strengthening of measures for prevention of infectious diseases of animals spread comes into force.

  • The order of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation dtd 17.07.2013 No. 282
    "About amendment of Rules of definition of a zoosanitary status of
    pig-breeding farms and also organizations, carrying out slaughter of pigs,
    processing and storage of pig-breeding products" was published on August
    20, 2013 in Russian Newspaper.

  • The order makes changes to Rules of definition of a zoosanitary status of
    pig-breeding farms and also organizations which are carrying out slaughter of pigs,
    processing and storage of pig-breeding production. It was prepared for
    prevention of infectious diseases of animals spread on the territory of the
    Russian Federation and increase of biological safety of pig-breeding farms of
    various types.
