Harvesting rating of Russia's regions
The updated rating of regions of Russia according to results of grain crops harvesting as of 03.09.2013.

In the current season 46 114,668 thousand hectares grain crops were sown in Russia, that is 1
254,85 thousand hectares more than in 2012. Grain cultivated areas were
increased practically in all federal districts.
As of 03.09.2013 Russia collected 61 708,8 thousand tons of grain from 25 796,4 thousand
hectares, 55,9% of cultivated areas were processed, average productivity made
23,9 c/hectare.
In rates of harvesting in comparison with last year the first place is taken by the new leader:
Kostroma region, which has forwarded from the eighth place. Rate of grain collecting in the region exceeds 62,4% the last year's rates. By September 3 the region threshed 72,9% of
cultivated areas against 10,5% last year, 41,6 thousand tons of grain were
collected, that exceeds by 4 times the last year's indicator for similar date. But average productivity in Kostroma region is 7,5 c/hectare lower than last year and makes 11,7 c/hectare.- In productivity gain the first place is taken by Astrakhan region. Though the Ministry of
Agriculture of the Russian Federation included Astrakhan region in the list of
territorial subjects, adverse for farming, the productivity gain in the region
this year makes 96,8%. Average grain productivity makes 17,4 c/hectare against
8,9 c/hectare last year. By September 3 the region collected 12,9 thousand tons
of grain.
