Ways of dealing with the triple burden of malnutrition, micronutrient deficiencies and obesity will be the main topics for discussion at the Second international conference on nutrition high level (INC2, 19-21 November), jointly organized by FAO and the world health organization (who).

The conference will bring together representatives from 190 countries, UN agencies, intergovernmental organizations, civil society, foundations, the private sector and other sectors. More than 100 Ministers of agriculture, health and other sectors will also participate in the conference, as well as Pope Francis, Queen Letizia of Spain, King of Lesotho Letsie III, Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina, Melinda gates, Jeffrey Sachs and other dignitaries.
