A number of the capital's shops warned its customers about the upcoming price increases for Belarusian goods. The cause of rising prices has been the shift in payments for supply of Belarusian products in U.S. dollars.

According to INTERFAX.RU relevant information letters were displayed on the shelves of many stores selling products from Belarus. So, shop Belarusian goods in NEAD in his message said that the provider was forced to raise selling prices by 10-20%. The Belarusian company, in turn, said that the Ministry of agriculture of the country began to set prices for exports in US dollars.

"The depreciation of the Russian ruble against the US dollar led to a significant rise in the cost of raw materials, auxiliary and packaging materials. The rising cost of energy and transport costs also resulted in higher prices of finished products of natural milk. The price increase has affected all companies-importers of dairy products in the territory of the Russian Federation", - quotes Agency the message provider.

Recall that in December 2014 President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko demanded that the government conduct settlements with Russia in dollars and euros. "Recently I often hear that the Russian ruble collapsed, and there is 40% of exports, and we are losing. The task is not to trade in roubles and dollars, because we pay for energy not in rubles and in us dollars. Russia had a long time to work, and we should demand that they, too, were paid in hard currency - in us dollars or euros," - said the Belarusian leader.
