However, she added, the internal processing of sunflower seeds in Russia in the 2014/2015 season is estimated at 8.6 million tons. Forecast exports of sunflower in the current season is at the level of 70 thousand tons.

Along with this, the production of sunflower oil in the current season is estimated by the expert at 3.6 million tons (4 million tons in the season 2013/2014), sunflower meal - 3.6 million tons (3,96 million tons in 2013/2014).

"The market prices of oil are rising and could increase by another 15% from current levels (in rubles)," predicts CEO "Prozerno" Vladimir Petrichenko. Their formation is affected by the decrease in sunflower seed production, growth capacity for processing of oil to 15.7 million tons per year, reduction of export duties and the upward dynamics of world prices for soybean and sunflower oil, concluded the expert.
