Rising prices for frozen fish, rice, apples and other products marked with the beginning of the year in St. Petersburg, follows from the data of monitoring of prices of petrostate from December 29 to January 12, provided by the Committee for entrepreneurship and consumer market.

The main growth of prices was observed in brick and mortar stores, non-stationary trading facilities and markets. The maximum increase in the price of frozen fish was 12.9%, black bread of 9.7%, white bread, and 7.1%, apples - to 9.4%. In shops of all sizes recorded the increase in the minimum prices for milk 0.5 to 9.2%. In addition, the marked increase in the cost of eggs 1-6,5%. And in the shops of the Federal networks, the price of eggs has reached 57,89 rubles per dozen, and markets - 82 ruble.

Also in St. Petersburg, fixed prices for cheese of 1.2 - 3.5% in shops of all sizes, which explains the higher prices of imported products and raw materials. The rising prices of rice groats (the increase in the minimum prices amounted to 0.9-6.9 per cent, a maximum of 0.8-9.3 per cent) providers also explain the rise in prices of domestic and imported rice.
