Yesterday, the Head of the Ministry of agriculture of Germany, Christian Schmidt officially opened the 80-th anniversary International agroindustrial exhibition-fair "Green week", which is considered a major global event in the agricultural industry. It is expected that this year the exhibition will be attended by more than 400 thousand people. "Green week", the partner country which is this year Latvia will last until January 26.

This year's "Green week" takes place amid fears of local farmers and food producers.
