The Spanish foreign Minister Jose Manuel Garcia-margallo said that the EU lost as a result of the introduction of the anti-sanctions about 21 billion euros, according to news Agency PRIME.

"Sanctions are costly to all of us, EU to date has lost 21 billion euros. We in Spain suffered on the part of the agriculture and tourism," he said in Brussels, arriving at the meeting of foreign Ministers of the EU.

Relations between Russia and the West deteriorated in connection with the situation in Ukraine. In late July of last year, the EU and the USA from the point of sanctions against certain individuals and companies have moved to the measures against entire sectors of the Russian economy. In response, Russia restricted imports of food products from countries that have imposed sanctions against her: USA, EU, Canada, Australia and Norway. A ban were beef, pork, poultry, sausages, fish, vegetables, fruits, dairy products and some other products.
