By the end of this year in Dagestan to be planted up to 2 thousand hectares of new orchards, RIA "Dagestan" said the Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Sharip Sharipov.

Of them, according to Vice-Premier, in the spring of current year 1 thousand have been planted 150 hectares of gardens, which is almost two times more than the planned indicator for this period. Total for all of last year in the Republic were planted 1 238 thousand hectares of gardens.
"Planting new gardens is part declared Head RD 2015 the Year of gardening, which gave a good impetus to the development of the industry," said Sharipov. Separately, the Chairman focused on the planting of gardens of intensive type.
According to him, intensive horticulture in the Republic is gaining good momentum. Only this spring these gardens were planted on the area of 145 hectares, whereas for the entire period of the start of an intense direction, from 2011 to 2014, just been planted together 191 hectares of extensive gardens. The end of the year intends to plant an additional 100 hectares of such gardens.
"To date, in the program of intensive horticulture involved 39 agricultural organizations and peasant farms, representing 13 municipalities. From them we can highlight Shamilsky and Kaytag areas, each of which accounted for 95 acres of gardens of intensive type", – said Sharip Sharipov, stressing that the potential of the Republic in this area is huge and it will continue to develop.
