According to data from the French ports, volumes of wheat, scheduled for loading, remained low for the current period. Granaries are overflowing with a record wheat harvest, gathered this summer (+9,4% up from the previous year).

As a result, on Monday, the operator of Socomac grain elevators decided to suspend the reception of wheat in the port of Rouen. Other operators, namely: Senalia (port of Rouen) and Nord-Cereales (port of Dunkirk) stopped taking wheat last week for the same reasons.

This means that three main points for the reception of wheat, traded on the Euronext stock exchange in Paris, now closed.
