The programme in 2015 put into operation 13 robotised farms in the Kaluga region. In the coming months will be opened such farms, one in Przemyśl region and 2 farms in Spas-Demensky district.

This was stated by the Minister of agriculture of region Leonid Gromov on a video conference with heads of municipal formations. The implementation of the program, as well as new technology used on farms, contributed to the achievement of high results in milk production last year.

By the end of 2015 Kaluga region exceeded the plan by the yield of milk: in the region on average from one cow received more than 5 600 pounds. The increase in milk yield was more than 500 pounds of milk, or 112% of the plan. Leaders in milk production in the region began Przemysl, Ferzikovo, Zhukovsky, maloyaroslavetsky and Kozelsky areas.

The head of the regional Ministry of agriculture stressed that now it is important to keep these indicators to prevent the decline of milk yield in the winter.
