"The commissioning of the 4 hectares of winter greenhouses of the enterprise is unique to the region an example for the construction of the greenhouse complex from scratch in a "clean" field. Such industry-scale project, implemented in such a short period in the field was not yet. The use of modern technologies will allow to obtain up to 60 kg of vegetables per square metre per year", - said the Governor Valery Radaev.

In December 2014 the company as part of the implementation of the investment project was built and put into operation the first greenhouse unit area of 1.3 ha. In December 2015 completed the construction of a second greenhouse blocks 4.3 hectares. the company "MG of Groups" in the framework of realization of the investment project "Complex of greenhouses in greenhouses" by 2018, the planned construction of winter greenhouses in the area of 12 hectares. the Total investment is over 1 billion. Production capacity will amount to 12 thousand tons of vegetables a year. It is expected to create about 300 jobs.

The Minister of agriculture Tatiana Kravtsev noted that in the country under the program of import substitution should be producing by 2020, 1 million tons of vegetables in greenhouses. In the Saratov region, one of the leaders in this area, is 6% of the greenhouse vegetables from the total vegetable production. If in Russia per capita is 4 kg of greenhouse vegetables, in the Saratov region - 13,5 kg, which exceeds the standard requirements.
