According to the report prepared by the analytical center of the National Union of milk producers (Soyuzmoloko) according to preliminary data Rosstat, in 2015, all categories of farms of the Crimea produced agricultural products amounted to 63.3 billion rubles, which is 13,6% less than in 2014 (in current prices). Negative dynamics was promoted by a reduction in the production of animal products. Although the total volume of agricultural products it is only 39.6% (24,8 billion rubles), while 60,4% of crop production (38,5 billion rubles).

So, for the year in farms of the Crimea livestock production decreased by 19.1%, to 115 thousand tons (54% in agricultural and 46% in households), eggs – by 10.2%, to 505,3 million units milk Production also continued to decline, despite the growth of livestock, and amounted to 230 thousand tonnes (-21% by 2014).

In the structure of production agriculture 34,5% provide agricultural companies, 60.6% of the farming population, 4,9% – (f)X and FE. Note that farm livestock farms in the region are not developed, their share in the production of livestock products is about 0.5% (in crop production – about 7.7%). By the end of 2015 the farms produced 91% milk (in 1990 this figure did not exceed 1%) and 61% of eggs (in 1990 – 21%).

This displacement of the production on this category of farms is accompanied by a decrease in its intensification. Households typically do not have the financial ability to implement the modernization and development of production and the marketability of the (share of sales in total production volume) are low enough that exacerbates the problem of food security. In 2014, the marketability of milk in farms of the Crimean population was 52.6%. The main achievement of crop sub-sector in the region in 2015 was to increase gross harvesting of grain and leguminous crops by 14.5% in comparison with 2014, 1 263,1 tonnes in clean weight. Rose and sunflower crop to 113.3 million tons (+7.9 per cent), boosted by the expansion of cultivated areas.

Note that the main feature of the agricultural complex of Crimea is its price volatility due to the fact that the market is focused on providing agricultural products health resort and tourist complexes. In addition, the situation is aggravated by the low level of exports, the lack of modern infrastructure, inefficient use of irrigated land, as well as problems in the field of legal regulation, resulting in difficulties with mastering of budget funds.
