The Ministry must do everything possible to simplify and accelerate the promotion of Ukrainian grain to the world markets and increase their exports. This was stated by the Deputy Minister of agrarian policy and food of Ukraine Elena Kovaleva during visit in Nikolaev sea port.

"Today I am in Nikolaevsk to seaport, to study the situation, to identify problems with a view to their solution.We are working to simplify and accelerate the promotion of Ukrainian grain to the world markets and increase its export volumes. We must decide how we will continue to help promote our products on foreign markets in order to ensure export potential and foreign currency", - said Kovalev.

The Deputy Minister noted that last year, due to the cancellation of more than 40 permits, the Ministry of agrarian policy managed to reduce the chain of promotion of grain production from the field to the terminal. "Through the ports of the city are currently exported 25% of all Ukrainian grain. Therefore, it is necessary to develop this direction, to give him more attention", - said Elena Kovaleva.

Deputy Minister familiarized with work of grain terminals, which operate successfully in Nikolaevsk microtu. In particular, they visited the terminals of the American company "Bunge", Chinese "Nobel", GP "Nikolaev port Elevator", JSC JV NIBULON and others. "Ukraine occupies a leading position in the world in the export of grains and oilseeds, and the task of the government is that our company has exported not only raw materials, but also products of processing of agricultural products", - said Kovalev.

In addition to export development, Ministry of agrarian policy and food of Ukraine carries out measures to ensure food security, namely, continuous monitoring of the situation and take the necessary measures to increase exports of value-added products
