The head of JSC "United grain company" Marat Shaydaev Wednesday, June 8, held talks with first Deputy Governor of Kurgan region Sergei Pagenum.

The meeting discussed issues of development of agro-industrial complex of Kurgan region in General, increasing domestic grain market, as well as existing and future opportunities grain infrastructure of the region for laying in the intervention Fund.

During negotiations, the parties discussed potential opportunities of investment in the amount of 400 million rubles in production development and grain infrastructure of the Kurgan region.

Today, in terms of grain production Kurgan oblast ranks first in the Urals Federal district and the seventh in Russia in per capita terms. In the region there is great potential for further growth of agricultural production, investment in the development of sectoral regional projects. By the end of 2015 in the region has collected 1.6 million tons of grain during the coming grain season is planned to collect at least 1.5 million tons.
