A Russian company from Kemerovo, working in agriculture, is planning to start shrimp are grown by a Spanish technology. The journalists said the head of the regional integrated center Olga Shishko.

Kemerovo firm has already signed an agreement of intent to acquire Spanish technology.

"At the end of this month, they plan to contract. Then is purchased the technology that allows you to grow not only shrimp, but also, for example, lobsters. It (the technology) allows, first, to grow them in fresh water, and secondly, in quite large volumes - about 30 thousand kg per year", - said the head of the center.
 

Shishko refused to give the name of the Kemerovo companies planning to implement the project, adding that the firm has worked in the field of agriculture. Other design details are also not disclosed before the signing of the contract.

Regional integrated centre was established in Kemerovo region in 2015 together Kuzbas industrial Park, Kuzbass chamber of Commerce and industry, Kemerovo technological Institute of food industry. On the establishment and operation of the center, the region received more than 5 million rubles following the results of competition of Ministry of economic development of Russia on provision of subsidies for state support of small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

Among the objectives of the centre: consultations, search of potential partners for SMEs, promotion of interregional and international business cooperation, support for projects etc. According to Shishko, last year the center provided support to over 170 SMEs.
