The Tula region government, represented by acting Governor Alexey Dyumin, and Cargill have signed an agreement on cooperation in the framework of implementation of several investment projects in the region, the press service of the regional government.

The American Corporation Cargill plans to invest 1.8 billion rubles in the development of production at its plant in Efremov (Tula region) - OOO "Cargill".

So, for the project "Expansion of production of oils and fats with the release of new products at OOO "Cargill" will be sent to 1.2 billion rubles for the project "Expansion of production of feed and the subsequent development of the infrastructure of the company 600 million rubles.

The duration of the projects is not specified.

"This agreement underlines our focus on further development and further investment in the region," - are reported words of the head of Cargill representation in Russia Elena zasimovoj.

The acting Governor of Tula region Alexey Dyumin, in turn, promised projects Cargill full support from the regional government.

"This company is distinguished by a conscientious approach to performance of obligations, quality products, modern production. Earlier it was reported that Cargill plans to invest about $10 million in the expansion of production masloprodukt at its plant in Efremov. The implementation period of the project by the end of 2017 - early 2018.

The company processing masloprodukt was opened in Efremov in 2007, investments amounted to 2 billion rubles.

Cargill has been working in Russia since 1991, the company for the time invested in the project about $1.1 billion, including the company in the Tula region - about $650 million currently, Cargill is working in 8 regions of the Russian Federation.
