Wednesday, June 22, on the website of the Russian government published a Decree (17 June 2016 No. 1248-p) on approval of personal composition of the Commission on agriculture and sustainable rural development.

In addition to the head of JSC "UGC" in the Commission included representatives of Federal Executive bodies, State Duma and the Federation Council, the audit chamber, the Russian Academy of Sciences, Russian banks and enterprises of agro-industrial complex, unions of workers and employers in the industry. The Commission was chaired by Chairman of Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev.

The Commission was established on 10 June 2016 to ensure concerted actions of Executive authorities and organizations to implement a unified state policy in the sphere of agro-industrial complex, rybohozjajstvennogo and sustainable development of rural areas.

In the framework of the implementation of the assigned tasks, the Commission, in particular, will consider the proposals on development of normative legal acts aimed at development of the industry, improving the efficiency of state support organization of agriculture, draft programs of development of branches of agricultural industry, issues in the field of fishery and preservation of water biological resources, regulating the use and turnover of agricultural lands and the development of markets for agricultural products, raw materials and food.

JSC "United grain company" (UGC) is a state-owned infrastructure and trading company, providing export potential of Russian grain on the world market and active implementation of the trade-purchasing activity on the domestic grain market.
