July 1, 2016, the day of the start selhozperepisi, in Moscow took place the solemn ceremony of memorable cancellation commemorative postage stamps "the all-Russian agricultural census 2016", the Press center of the census.

The stamp depicts the emblem of the all-Russian agricultural census 2016. Circulation - 297 thousand marks (33 thousand leaves), the face value of the stamps – 20 RUB. Its size: 37×37 mm, sheet size: 152×152 mm. Sheet consists of 9 (3×3) stamps.

Postage stamp dedicated to the selhozperepisi, already enrolled in post offices and can be used to send e-mail correspondence.

Head of the Federal service of state statistics Alexander Surinov, who took part in the ceremony of quenching, expressed gratitude to the Ministry of communications and mass communications of the Russian Federation, Federal communications Agency, organized the issue of postage stamps dedicated to wshp-2016.

According to Deputy Minister of agriculture of Russia Elena Astrakhantseva, issue of stamps is one of the most interesting ways to capture the most important for the whole country event.

In recent years we have in agriculture a good return, all on the rise, agriculture is developing, and we hope that through the census, we will develop even better," she said at the ceremony.

"The census will cover a huge number of people living in rural areas, workers in the agricultural sector, farmers, members of horticultural and garden societies and many others. More than 40 thousand enumerators all over the country will collect information during selhozperepisi.
