In Leningrad region it is planned to implement the investment project on creation in Novyi Svet settlement, Gatchina district of the agrarian with an Apple orchard on 750 hectares and a plant for processing of fruits. The project was designed by CJSC "Gatchinsky feed mill". The project involves planting of fruit garden, construction of plant and housing for workers of agrarian cluster.

"We need to coordinate this project with the General plan of development of the Gatchina district and to determine the phasing of its implementation. First we need to create a nursery for growing seedlings, then lay the garden and begin construction of a plant for processing apples, and only then begin construction of the first phase of housing for employees of this production. The position of the administration of the Leningrad region is as follows: first a garden, then the city," — said the Governor of Leningrad region Alexander Drozdenko.

JSC "Gatchinsky feed mill" is supposed to Fund the creation of the orchard and part of the industrial Park at the expense of own and borrowed funds, with possible involvement of subsidies from the Federal budget. To implement the other components of the project will involve the project partners. The timing of the implementation of the concept will amount to 8-10 years.
