At the same time preparatory work is underway for development of another 10 acres, which will be commissioned in 2017.

"This is a promising direction, which in a few years will allow the region to become one of the leading Russian producers of greenhouse vegetables. Thus, we have successfully declared by the President of Russia the policy of import substitution of food products", — said the head of the regional administration Oleg Korolev.

Private investment overall will be about 50 billion rubles, financial assistance from the state amounted to 600 million rubles.

In Yeletsky district starts construction of the greenhouse complex, LLC "TC "Yelets vegetables" in the area of 60 hectares. The volume of investments will amount to 18 billion rubles, growers will use the technology UltraClima.
