In five years the exports and imports of agricultural products to Russia will be equal and will reach about 22 billion rubles, predicts the head of the Ministry of agriculture Alexander Tkachev.

"Over the past two years, food imports declined by nearly 40%, from 43 billion rubles" — the Minister said at a meeting on the agriculture of the Central non-black earth region with the participation of President of Russia Vladimir Putin. Food imports amounted to 26.5 billion rubles., said TASS in the press service of the Ministry of agriculture.
