The head of the region reminded that in 2016 the region celebrated several anniversaries and were glad to see so many young scientists and practitioners present at the forum.

"We are powerful because the young chosen field," said Radaev. In total, the event was attended by representatives of 22 regions. "Every region can consider itself the breadbasket of Russia", - said the head of the regional government.

Besides, Valery Radaev was glad that winter wheat varieties of Saratov breeding showed a record result of yield — 67 quintals per hectare.
