The volume of grain purchases to the intervention Fund in the Crimea in the current season can be up to 100 thousand tons. In addition to the Peninsula, grain interventions will be held in the Urals, the Volga region and Siberia. In the course of grain interventions the 2016-2017 marketing year, the agriculture Ministry plans to purchase about 2 million tons of grain.

The state purchasing interventions of grain harvest in 2015 has also started on 19 August with the Crimea, and the last auction took place on 6 April. In the past agricultural year on the Crimean stock exchange was purchased 66,779 thousands of tons of grain to 644,429 million rubles, the National commodities exchange (NTB) - 1,701 million tons in 17,691 billion.

Intervention Fund of grain as of August 12 amounted to 3,257 million tons worth 28,837 billion.
