A report on drip irrigation as one way of solving the problem of import substitution in Russia by Roman Kalinichenko. He said that the strategy of import substitution based on the development of production, increase of quality of manufactured product, technologies used in enterprises, development of innovation. According to him, the main focus in crop and vegetable production should be the organization of the production of necessary agricultural products in the reclaimed (including irrigated) lands that can provide high added value.

"Climatic and regional production conditions of the Tula region can provide high technological and economic indicators of agricultural enterprises using modern reclamation technologies that will increase the competitiveness of regional manufactured products", — said Roman Kalinichenko.
