By creating a machine-building cluster, which shows the growing interregional cooperation between Russia and Belarus opens up great possibilities for cooperation between enterprises on both sides.

The volume of investment in the medium term - more than 300 million rubles. According to the Governor of the Vologda region Oleg Kuvshinnikova, the regional Government and Cherepovets will take all necessary measures of state support for the project.

"This project of creating a Russian-Belarusian machine-building cluster may be eligible to participate in programs of support of innovative industrial clusters implemented by the Ministry of industry and trade of the Russian Federation. Integration industrial competencies of the two countries in the field of agricultural engineering will allow us to develop and produce the advanced machines to meet the demand both in Russia and abroad", — said the Deputy Minister of industry and trade of the Russian Federation Alexander Morozov.

He also noted that in the near future the Agency intends to consider in detail a "road map" project, which is developing the project initiator - OJSC "Cherepovets casting and mechanical plant" and OJSC "Minsk tractor works".

Today we can say that the investment in the project over the next 10 years will be more than 750 million rubles.
