According to the Minister, developed a new concept of teaching the subject "technology", including study of the professions in the agricultural sector.

"Students need to engage in socially useful activities should expand their professional skills. We have developed the concept of teaching the subject in the field of technology in which there are new approaches in this area, but there is a direction of "agriculture", — said Olga Vasilyeva.

She said that the concept of teaching technologies can become the basis for the subject area, it requires to improve the skills training of teachers, upgrading of material and technical equipment, professional orientation of pupils in agricultural occupations, the development of agro-classes, creation of forestry, and the creation of production teams.

In February, the Director of the Ministerial Department of science and technology policy and education Elena Metelkova made in the state Duma with a proposal to return to the practice of the participation of agricultural students in agricultural works. For the development of the industry Metelkova suggested to make a priority of the specialty livestock experts, agronomists and veterinarians.
