The General index of industrial production in Voronezh region for the first half of 2016 amounted to 102%, higher than the national average (100,4%).
The main contribution to the economic growth of the region gave agriculture: the agricultural output in the first half amounted to 46.8 billion and grew by 6.7% compared to last year. Among agricultural sectors, the largest increase of produced goods is observed in beef cattle (18,5%) and milk production (6.5 per cent). One in five loans issued to legal entities in the Voronezh region is in agriculture. Farmers issued 22.7 billion rubles in loans, which is 25% higher than the same period last year, according to the Bulletin of the Central Bank.
Recall that last year agricultural enterprises of the Voronezh region has received 6.8 billion rubles of subsidies, including 5.3 billion, at the expense of the Federal budget.
"Agriculture has always been one of the most active credit facilities. The share of agricultural in the total balance of loan debt hovered around 20%. In recent years, it has grown to 25%. Today the agricultural enterprise loans more than the traditional leaders, as enterprises of the construction sector or trade," — said a Bank analyst Elena Chopinova.
