Earlier it was reported that the Federal agriculture Ministry expects grain harvest in Russia in 2016 at a level not less than 110 million tons, and in good weather it can grow up to 113-116 million tons.

"If nothing happens, I can pass (in 2016 - ed.) over 110 million tons of grain. We say that a record harvest in the country is 110 million tons. We aim that by 2030, to dream and to talk about 130 million tons, of course, is attractive for us", — said Alexander Tkachev on the issue of crop forecasts.

He stressed that everything is relative.

"America produces 450 million tons, China produces 500 million. Grain is a commodity, it is an export product, the export position, you have everything", — said the Minister.

All-Russian day of soy has been inaugurated in the Tambov region on Wednesday, it gathered representatives of over 40 Russian regions, where this culture is growing.
