The amount of pastries compared to last year has decreased in all Federal districts: Central Federal district (-2%), northwestern Federal district (-1%), SFD (-6%), North Caucasus Federal district (-1%), PFO (-8%), UVI (-4%), SFO (-4%), DFO (-4%).

The largest regional producer of bread in Russia is still Moscow. For the first eight months of 2016 the enterprise capital produced 284 thousand tonnes of bread, or 1% more than last year.

In second place for the production of bread in Russia is the Moscow oblast, the third - St.-Petersburg.
